Whether you're ready to hand over the keys or looking for a partner to grow faster - there's a conversation worth having.
You handle everything. Suppliers, marketing, finances, customer service, staff, compliance. The seasons never stop. The competition keeps growing.
Maybe you love it as much as ever. Maybe you're starting to wonder: what does the next phase look like? Can I keep growing at this pace? What happens to my team, my customers, my brand when I'm ready to step back?
These are the questions the founders of Jongerentravel, Hobo Reizen and GrooveX asked themselves. And here's what they found: there's a way forward that doesn't mean letting go of everything you've built.
Wherever you are on your journey as an operator, there's a place for you in Arcadia.
Here's the honest picture of what joining Arcadia looks like.
No pressure at any stage. You set the pace.
We meet. No NDAs, no documents. Just two groups of people talking about travel, your brand, and what you're looking for.
If there's mutual interest, we spend time understanding your business, your team, and your vision. You get to know us just as deeply.
We put something on the table - transparent, fair, and designed around what matters to you. No hidden clauses, no surprises.
Your brand joins Arcadia. Your team stays. Your customers notice nothing - except maybe that things keep getting better.
We don't rename, rebrand, or fold brands into a generic umbrella. Jongerentravel is still Jongerentravel. Hobo Reizen is still Hobo Reizen. Your brand will still be your brand.
The team you built is what makes your brand work. We invest in them, develop them, and make sure they feel the transition as an upgrade - not a disruption.
No hidden agendas. No bait-and-switch. Every step of the process, you'll know exactly where things stand and what we're thinking.
We're backed by Green Park Investment Partners, who invest their own capital - not a fund with a ticking clock. We don't need to flip your business. We're building for the long term, together.
We typically partner with travel brands doing between €1M and €15M in revenue. But size isn't the most important thing - passion, quality, and a loyal customer base matter more. If you're smaller but growing fast, we'd still love to talk.
That depends entirely on which path you choose. If you're looking to hand over the keys, you sell and we take full ownership - but you're always welcome to stay involved personally, in whatever capacity makes sense. Many founders remain as an ambassador, an advisor, or simply someone we call when we need perspective on a destination or a key partnership.
If you're looking to grow with us rather than exit, you stay exactly where you are - running your brand, keeping your ownership stake, and gaining a share in the group alongside us. Nothing changes in how you operate. You just have more behind you.
Both are genuine options. The conversation starts with what you want your next chapter to look like.
No. Your brand keeps its name, its identity, and its unique character. That's a core principle of Arcadia - we believe the diversity of our brands is what makes the family strong.
Niche group travel is our sweet spot - youth travel, family travel, senior travel, adventure, wellness, culinary, cultural. We love brands that serve a specific type of traveller really well, rather than trying to be everything to everyone.
There's no fixed timeline. From first coffee to partnership can be anywhere from a few months to over a year. We move at your pace. The most important thing is that both sides feel right about the decision.
Arcadia is backed by Green Park Investment Partners, a Belgian-Dutch firm that invests with its own capital. They've completed over 50 transactions and have a strong track record of supporting founder-built businesses across Europe. They're hands-on, informal, and genuinely invested - in every sense of the word.
Arcadia is led by Michiel Hermans as CEO & co-founder. Michiel is co-invested alongside Green Park - he has real skin in the game. Before founding Arcadia he spent 6 years as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. In his first year at Arcadia he ran Hobo Reizen as General Manager directly, delivering 40% revenue growth, a restructured team, and a redesigned product portfolio. Today he leads strategy, brand partnerships, and cross-brand initiatives. What brought him here wasn't a career move - it was a genuine passion for travel and a belief that the best niche travel brands in Europe deserve better than being swallowed up by large platforms or left without a succession plan.
There's no commitment in a conversation. If you're curious, reach out. We'll listen first, share our story, and see if there's something worth exploring together.
